This fitting is made of plated iron for strength, malleability, ductility, and resistance to corrosion, and it has a polymer seat for chemical resistance. This Boss ground joint complete seal hose fitting is recommended for steam service up to 450 degrees F.

1.A ground joint female hose coupling set includes hose stem, female NPT spud, and hammer swivel. The seal on the nose of the spud creates a tight seal when the hammer swivel pulls it against the hose stem.
